The City of Rehoboth Beach’s Commemorative Tree Fund offers a unique way to celebrate a significant event or to honor someone special while also providing funding for the planting of trees in public spaces.

A Program Celebrating Nature & Art
In addition to celebrating nature, this unique program also promotes public art. Donation levels are designated by different colored leaves – all with three lines of customized messaging – that help form the city’s tree sculpture, created by local artist Bill Wolff and installed in the atrium of City Hall.
How To Donate
Your donation to the city’s Commemorative Tree Fund helps ensure that future generations will enjoy the lovely tree canopy of our seaside community.
Three donation levels are available – $350, $600, and $1,000. To date, the program has raised more than $75,000 to support the planting of trees on public property within the city. Please note that individual commemorative markers where the trees are planted are no longer available.
This unique and memorable gift is a great way to remember or honor a special individual, recognize leadership and notable achievements, celebrate a pet, or mark special occasions, such as weddings, anniversaries, births, graduations, or retirement.
