- City facilities are smoke-free. Appropriate receptacles are located outdoors for those who wish to smoke.
- Open flames are not permitted in the convention center with the exception of Sterno cannisters used for food service.
- All exhibit electrical devices are to be turned off at the end of the exhibit day.
- No extra materials or merchandise may be stored behind the stage or in hallways as this is a violation of state and local fire codes.
- The Rehoboth Beach Convention Center is securely locked at night at the end of an event. However, if you require additional security, the Rehoboth Beach Police Department can provide extra-duty officers for a fee.
- Convention center staff members reserve the right to deny any request or to stop any unsafe act as they deem necessary.
