Pride

Rehoboth Beach has PRIDE

The City of Rehoboth Beach is a diverse and welcoming coastal destination and community that embraces its vibrant LGBTQ+ culture. In celebration of our LGBTQ+ community, in 2024 the city painted two sets of crosswalks on Baltimore Avenue, at 1st and 2nd streets, with a rainbow of colors represented in the Pride flag.

The set of painted crosswalks at 2nd Street is located at the intersection with Steve Elkins Way, a  pedestrian walkway from Baltimore Avenue to the convention center, which is named in memory of the late Steve Elkins, who along with his husband, Murray Archibald, founded CAMP Rehoboth in 1991.
